Circuit Breaker Lockout

A new circuit breaker lockout device designed for 3-phase circuit breakers rated at 227V or above.

The PSL-CBL Large Circuit Breaker Lockout attaches to breakers with handle dimensions up to .8" thick x 3" wide. The device secures and prevents repositioning of the breaker handle to safeguard workers during routine maintenance operations and other instances when power must be shut off from equipment.

The lockout device is lightweight, compact and easy to install. Mounting is accomplished by simply turning the pre-assembled stainless steel toggle thumb screw into the circuit breaker handle. In addition, the lockout is built tough, utilizing rugged stainless steel/nylon construction for greater durability, strength, security and corrosion resistance. The device can be secured using a Panduit lock from their PSL-3, PSL-4, PSL-5 or PSL-11 Series.

Easy installation - no installation tools required:

Step 1: Verify circuit breaker is de-energized. Place PSL-CBL lockout device over breaker with the handle centered in lockout opening.	Step 2: Turn the toggle set screw knob and tighten firmly against the breaker handle.
Step 3: Rotate and flip toggle set screw upwards.	Step 4: Install lock and tag and test for security. Verify that the lockout device secures the disconnect in a safe or off position.
